Planning and design, interior complectation, renovation works.
Client’s wishes:
Stylish, modern, flexible office for a young team with minimal intervention and no engineering adaptation. The space is supposed to inspire people to work and spend time there, so, in addition to workplaces, it was necessary to make a comfortable recreation area and equip a terrace.
design
In order to fulfill the wishes of the customer regarding minimal intervention in the interior and structures, we placed the furniture as close as possible to the existing electrical networks and partitions. As for the design, we chose an overall rich dark color scheme that made the space feel deeper and quieter. We highlighted interesting interior areas with color accents and unconventional wallpapers.
We created classic workplace zones, zones with more comfortable chairs and “hot desk” area with bar stools. We partitioned the space with stylish lockers, which divide the office into thematic zones as well as perform their main function – storage.
Throughout the office, we placed plenty of plants to harmonize the space and create a cozy atmosphere. Abundant greenery emphasized the main concept of the office, where work concentration areas have been combined with places for relaxation. The final touch was the equipment of a large terrace overlooking Kyiv.
complectation
We had to get the most out of things we had on hand. That’s why our specialists painted the ceiling to match the design, partially replaced the carpet in critical areas, kept LED panels, doors and glass partitions. Under the conditions of war, our team produced furniture for the whole office in just 3 weeks, and individual items were ordered and delivered from abroad.
To enliven the space we found and purchased all the necessary decorations: curtains, blinds, planters and other design elements. The photo wallpapers were created exclusively for the customer. As we have already said, when -ation specialists need certain elements for completing the interior, they are able to find them all over the world.
Moreover, if these elements do not exist – we will create them, as in this case. Therefore, when we realized that these special wallpapers from designer’s imagination and client’s wishes were nowhere to be found, one of our contractors agreed to create personal masterpiece for the customer.
works
Tight deadlines forced us to work literally nonstop with night shifts and frequent gatherings of all team members. In order not to waste time, projectors, foremen, project managers, furniture-makers and subcontractors solved all the issues together and got to work immediately. That was not the first time the project manager and head foreman worked in Class A business centers; they knew all the rules and easily obtained the necessary permits.
We met all the deadlines precisely thanks to our professional team, which quickly adapted to hell of a lot of martial law curveballs and constant air raid alerts. Our employees know how to adapt to the whims of nature, so they equipped the terrace on time despite the frequent September rains.
We presented our work exactly on the day of the customer’s corporate party.

Anyone who says that renovation process is quite predictable one, has either never been involved in it or simply tells lies. Sometimes in order to get the desired result you reorder custom-made wallpapers and redo the entire wall anew, and all of that is done just to look at it later and say: “It was definitely worth it.”

Sometimes a corporate party in honor of the opening of a new office is scheduled for the day of works completion, and the team hands over the project to the customer an hour before the celebration, while catering is making canapes nearby.

Corporate party day, 8:00:
Call from the customer: Good morning, I got a video from an office manager; you had left a garbage behind! The catering has already started working and they need space.
-ation/: Ok, we’ll sort it out.
– ation/ call to the head foreman: Good morning, why didn’t you pick up the garbage?
Foreman: It’s not ours, it was left by furniture makers.
-ation/: Everything must be cleaned in 20 minutes
Foreman: #&*%$… we’ll sort it out.
Foreman’s call to the Business Center administration: Good morning, can you pick up the garbage?
Business Center Administration: the request has been accepted, we will deal with it.
20 minutes later
-ation/: Issue with garbage has been sorted out.
Catering: Hey!! Where the hell are our inventory boxes?!

Хто каже, що ремонт — передбачуваний процес, або ніколи не робив ремонт, або бреше. Інколи, щоб отримати бажаний результат, ти перезамовляєш ексклюзивні шпалери й переробляєш усю стіну заново. Щоби потім дивитись і казати: «Воно того варте було».

Інколи корпоратив на честь відкриття нового офісу призначають на день здачі ремонтних робіт, і команда за годину до святкування передає роботи замовнику. А водночас кейтеринг поруч уже робить канапе.

Виконроб: То не наше, то меблярів.
-ation/: Треба прибрати за 20 хвилин.
